Josephine's nurturing and light-hearted teaching style creates a comfortable and non-intimidating environment for practicing yoga. She aims to make the experience of learning yoga an individual journey by engaging with each
student to establish what will be a fulfilling practice for them in their current body.
Hatha Yoga for all levels of ability
Breath - Movement - Relaxation - Reflection. Hatha Yoga classes with Josephine are a gentle reminder to be aware of the body you have, the person you are and everything you are experiencing, in each moment. The practice encourages an understanding of the physical body, and through movement, conscious breathing and observation, we discover the subtleties of who we are.

* Class Descriptions:
Slow Flow: a good way to ease into a dynamic practice. We will become familiar with the Sun Salutation series and build on variations, taking time to explore the more challenging postures before introducing them into the flow.
Deep Relaxation: one hour of guided relaxation practices to soothe the nervous system, ease tired and tight muscles, calm the busy mind. A gentle way to care for yourself if you are pregnant, recovering from injury, illness or surgery or feeling overwhelmed mentally, physically or emotionally.
Gentle Flow: open to everyone that would like to move~breathe~contemplate. Learn to move into and out of the poses with ease, breathing and listening. Variations & modifications will be offered to encourage everyone to find their own practice.
Just Guys: just as the name would suggest, this class is for men only. We will work with releasing chronic tightness in hips & hamstrings, strengthening the core to support the back and playing with upper body strength. All levels of ability & experience are welcome.
Hot Flow: get ready to sweat! This physical practice will be a continual flow of asanas to build internal heat to detoxify and warm us from the inside. A good understanding of the sun salutation sequence and a strong body awareness are required for this fun, fast flowing class. Not suitable for anyone recovering from recent injuries.
Foundation+ : an excellent class for those who would like a sound understanding of the basic practice. Alignment, breathing, modifications and intention for each pose will be presented and built upon throughout the series to create a strong foundation.
